Lovely dinner location. The service is always great and the food amazing! They are also flexible in making changes for vegetarians. I was especially impressed that these options were so delicious. Often in high class cuisine the dishes with fish and meat are outstanding while vegetarian dishes are good but not amazing. These really had me thinking about them for days 😅 I recommend this when you have something to celebrate! Super fun You can also visit the little ruins close by and have a lovely view.

This hotel was absolutely FABULOUS! It is a little off the regular tourist route, but completely worth it, especially if you are planning to visit Neuschwanstein. My husband and I spent 2 nights here and purchased a package with breakfast and dinner included. Even though the dinner menu was limited (only choice was the main course), it had plenty of variety and was well worth the money. The food was also a higher quality and presentation than we are used to so it felt extra special to us. We loved the hotel and sprawling landscapes so much that we spent an entire day just lounging around and admiring the view. The staff were all very welcoming and happy to answer any questions we had. Everyone spoke enough English that we never had to stress about translation. I cannot say enough good things about staying here.

I'm local to this hotel and have visited quite a few times for drinks and food after a hike. It's a really beautiful location and the quality of food and drinks is excellent. However, that's all totally marred by the service. There are a few key members of staff there who always act as if they'd really rather not be serving anyone. It's quite shocking, given the quality of the place and the fact it exists to serve people and offer a nice experience. We're left with a bad taste after every visit because of this. This place could be five stars if that issue was sorted out.

A stunning place to spend for a romantic dinner or lunch. Delicious food perfectly garnished and served in combination with the ambience and view. Definitely worth a visit when you are there. When you go there please check their website as there is traffic regulation by a traffic light that regulates the up and downhill traffic as the road is too narrow for both directions.

we stayed four nights in this most wonderful hotel, the best I've slept in in germany. Few rooms, each one very spacious and exquisitely decorated, a friendly staff (not allways the case in bavaria, we found), the restaurant serves very good and varied food, and breakfast facing the mountains is a treat. Great find !

We only went for a breakfast and unfortunately I was disappointed with variety, very limited. The hotel itself looks like a place from a fairytale, I loved it inside out. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't so good because the view suppose to be incredible.

We stayed three nights for 1100,-. We wanted to hike in the day and relax in the evening. The place itself is beautiful and the views stunning. The service however does absolutely not reflect that. We never felt so disrespected for that much money. Being ignored, told to take our shoes off inside the hotel, not able to get real food after 21:00...the list goes on. What a waste of an amazing place in the hands of incompetent management. If you are looking to be treated in a way that reflects what you paid go to the Italian Alps.
